As you are aware that idea star singer 2008 final Elimination telecasted on 23-April-09. My comments as follows:
It’s very sad that the talented singer Mr. Somadas was eliminated at the final stage. I am still confused how he was eliminated, please note the following:

Off-course the SMS variation will be high than Gayathri, it is mentioned during the show. In this situation, how he will become eliminated? What is the use those who send SMS for Somu? Are they /Am I fool who send SMS for him?

Gayatri ye In akkiyillenkil megafinal-il soniya mathrame ulloo. There won't be any competition for girls' villa. that's why they made gayatri In.

yes i am agreed, whats the purpose of this elimination? Is it required, If he has more vote than Gayathri, then why dont let them allow to sing in a gand fanale? Is there any loss? Anyhow Somu will not get the Flat eventhough he can sing in the last stgage, If the asinanet judges decided like that will be loyal to the people who are sendig to the contastants

STOP SENDING SMS, IF YOU SEND SMS MEANS YOU WERE CHEATED BY ASIANET.. EXAMPLE SOMU'S CASE, SANNI'S CASE.......... PLEASE DONT SEND ANY SMS TO ANYONE. IF YOU SEND SMS THEN THAT WILL BE IDLE. THE FINAL RESULT WILL BE AS DECISIDED BY THE JUDGES.........SO WHATS THE VALUE OF YOUR VALUABLE SMS.

I am really sad to see Somadas go. He is a very talented singer - although not in the ideal sense. He reminds me of someone like Anwar. Can Anwar sing classical / semi classical songs to the high standards set by KJY, MGS etc? I am not saying that he cannot, but certainly don't think its his cup of tea. However, he is very good at rendering 'Adipoli' songs & those particular type of songs which require a voice similar to his. In Somu's case, I find a big similarity. I am sure he would do very well as a playback singer although there would be certain restrictions on the type of songs he would be able to make an impact on, but then he is not alone. He really sings with his heart & I appreciate that so much - also such a humble fellow! How dare Renjini make a comment that it is ONLY because of text messages that Somu has survived up till the 13th stage - absolutely outrageous! She deserves to be kicked out of this show! If Arya had survived till the final elimination, then probably Gayathri would have got the sack. Since there were only 2 girls left in the final elimination, how can they eliminate Gayathri? If they did so, Sonia would have no competitor in the final. This is part of the explanation given by that stupid dumb anchor & Meera for saving Gayathri. The whole show has been such a disappointment. Does Asianet really think we believe their claims of the show being 'transparent' & 'unbiased' to really be true? Sorry, I'm never going to believe that! I have decided not to watch the 2009 version of this show - or any other episodes in future. Absolutely disgusted!!!

Being a regular viewer of ISS2008 i would like 2 ask u dear Asianet,r u analysing the stupidity of this show being telecasted worldwide? Final elimination round was really rediculous by kicking somu out of the show after the announcement by the anchor lady that he got more than 1 lakh SMS which almost covered 51 marks.But the difference of marks b/w Somu & Gayathri was only 3 marks.Then whats the logic of eliminating Somu? Howz this fu##ing calculation done 2 push the poor somu out of the show & make fool of the viewers who send tonnes of SMS.
If the reason of making Gayathri 'in' was in need of an opponent to Soniya,then why dont this bloody idiots conducted a seperate elimination for male& female singers right from the beginning??why dnt they allow Somu to be there in the mega finale?

Better to select an anchor who is having some knowledge of music like Jyostna in 2 Crore apple Mega Star other it would again deteriote quality of the show.Apara tholikati thannedi Renjini ninakku, ithrayum theri kitiyittum ilichondu nilkan angane patunnadi. As always Asianet cheated the peoples this time also last time we all knows it was Najeem and this time we all was knowing it was vivek eventhough he is not singing well that dosent matter,for asianet its only a business and they took the money and did the favour to him,if its like this then y u r cheating the poor people,avoid that idiot lady from anchoring next time,Somu was not having money to give for asianet so he is out from the show.Please we dont need anymore shows like ISS now we are moving to another channels to see the reality shows and asianet should see how they are doing the shows.

That dump anchor was suggesting about the documents of the villa in the presentation ceremony. Was the documents prepared earlier for Sonia and Vivek? What does that mean? The winners were decided already. It is justifiable in case of Sonia, but for Vivek- he was a disaster

I have read all the comments . Really this is only a business trick for Asianet. The final result is lso a very sad event. Only female singer Sonia was a deserving candidate. Every time they are telling public should vote for music. But Asianet have forgotten the good signers. How Mr. Venugopal is tolerating this kind of partiality. This is a reality show, don't make public fools. One request is there again don't make public as well as the contestents fools in the next idea star singer reality show.

Idea Star Singer is just another mega serial...I'm surprised people still watch this nonsense broadcast in the name of music...Any one with minimum common sense will know that Asianet is just making a fool out of their viewers...Oh and I've never seen an anchor(I'm assuming it is still Renjini) who cannot speak both malayalam or english properly without putting on a fake accent
