First of all it is very very unfair, to have vivek back on show. Yes he is a good singer no doubt. But this is a competition, if he has failed and was blank for 2 rounds, well it is a good as that he is out of the show. Yes!!.. the directors can give him a chance in a movie or whatever, but for a competition, one has to be fair. It discourages the other contestants.
Coming to Gayatri and Arya : Now when arya sings like some singer, SHE IS IMITATING.. according to the judges, but if Gayatri does the same, she sounds like Madhuri amma to Mr. Sharath. Isn this unfair. Pls it is a competition, it is not right to put somebody down. These days just check the look at Arya's face, If I was in her place, I wd have just quit!!.. Never discourage anyone like this. FOr this I blame all the judges, why are they sitting there, when they cant do the judgement properly.
Somu, yes he is from a poor background, without knowledge of classical songs, no base at all, such a person is getting high scores, where as a classical singer for severral years scores less.. It is impossible. IWhich means, it is jsut not necessary to learn singing at all.. why waste all our years learing to sing. There has to be a justification to everything.
Many peopel commented on this, saying this is unfair, but today i realise, there is no proper judgement at all. It is a waste watching this show. In Amrita they have this reality show whre kids are singing, What a perfect judgement. Thats how it should be..
It is still not late, I feel , Mr. Sharat, Venuchetan, Didi please be fair with the candidates. If the overall performance is taken of the candidates, VIVEK stands no chance at all for sure.. In case vivek is made the Idea Stars winner, I swear this whole thing is a Gimmic and I am really dissappointed with this show.

My views on idea stars 2008.
