Now all categories of people have started taking a 'chance' in iss for the 1 crore. Right from housewives and even the 'early retired Captains' are taking a chance . they must be thinking 'kittiyal kitti, allenkil chatti'. Ethayalum onnu vannu nokkam.
The funniest part was that one of the contestants agreed in public that she is participating for the 1 crore sidelining the interest in music(answering to MG) .
The worst judgement ever happened when they put Swetha(the 'dancer' from Bangalore) in the waiting list on the condition that she practices well at home. If this is the case all can be made IN on the same condition.
Why these imports are allowed to participate without knowing malayalam songs? If they can sing other language songs , why they don't even make an attempt to learn their own language songs? she killed the song'karmukilvarnanante' and stil, she is in waiting list. kashtam.

Yes, I agree. All the performances were pathetic. I was surprised to see Swetha not kicked. Ouseppachan was trying hard to contain his laugh when Swetha was singing "karmughil". SHe sang it horribly.

You are right Kuttan. The judges aren't always fair. It seems like the result of the contestants depends on the mood of the judges.

On the whole ISS 2008 is not even near to 2007. Most contestants are old and the singing is horrible too. I wonder whether they have enough people in the "IN" list. It is getting so boring. Anchor also not that great. Renjini was much better compared to this girl even with her Manglish.

Really I too wanted to comment on theat. The very next day when a boy from Calicut sung the song "Oru pushpam maathramen..." beautifully, the judges just chucked him out without showing any justice.I challenge the judges, if they can compare the so called Shwetha & this boy. Any person who doesn't have any knowledge about music can also make a choice in such situations. And the fun is that yesterday, both M.G & Ousepachan were boasting that many of their friends had called them and congratulated them for doing "wonderful" selections. Ofcourse many people might have commented on their selection of Shwetha from Bangalore.
