Suresh Gopi

Where is the police uniform, Mr Commissioner?

What were you talking about the attitudes about Ambili and Chindhu?

Asianet's efforts to justify their selection of Najim as star singer is disgusting. During the ISS 2007 shows, the judges were time and again heard mentioning that there's no partiality. Others were also brought in to comment on similar lines. ISS was proclaimed as the world's best "reality" show conducted purely on "merit"!!!!!!
Now, even after all that his over, the ghost of manipulation still lives on in Asianet. On the opening day of ISS 2008, they bring in Najim again. And then Suresh Gopi praises him like no man's business!!! Asianet, grow up! If you want to make money, do so, by all means!!! If you want to manipulate, do so by all means!!!! If you want to cheat all contestants for the sake of one, do so by all means!!!! Everything is fair in love and war and reality shows!!!!!!!. Please don't keep justifying your acts. Prove your sainthood by actions and not by such cheap means!!!!

Suresh Gopi is not a super star like Mohan lal. He is just an overacting guy who can do a little bit of police roles. So why are people calling him a superstar.

While he was kissing the butt of Najib yesterday, he failed to mention Thushar and Durga. He mentioned several other 2007 contestants, not Thushar and Durga.

He wants to make sure Asianet give him an award this year.

His comments about the attitude of some of the contestants should be deplored

YES. IT WAS QUITE EVIDENT. SURESH GOPI STATED THAT NAJIM WAS WAY ABOVE ENTIRE CLASS OF CONTESTANTS IN ISS 2007. IF THAT WAS THE CASE, HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN DISQUALIFIED FROM THE CONTEST, IN ALL FAIRNESS.

    Hey Suuureeesh Gooopiii:
Are you the sponsor of all the wrong doings of Asianet? They have choosen Najim as the winner much before ISS-2007. Everybody knows that. Viewers of the show also know that there are other contestants like Durga and Thushar who are better than Najim to get the prize. Now you are saying that he is an "athishaya janmam" and he is at such a higher level he should have contested with people like Madhu Balakrishnan. Thank God you did not say Yesudas or Balamuralikrishna. Whay can't you keep your ignorance about music with yourself?

Yes, that was a very descpicable statement abt. Najim by S.Gopi, putting down all other Contestants to rot and the entire Contest to a gimmick, robbing the entire class of people of their valuable time and money

Is suresh gopi a spokesman for najim? Whatever he uttered about najim was absurd and stupid. He deliberately didin't mention Thushar and Durga. Becoz they know that they were the best singers out there, and at the cost of supressing their talent only they made najim the winner. They also know that public know this fact. Now they want to justify their action by such comments about the winner even wfter the show. The channel claim that this show is promote the true talent. But actually this show is to suppress the true talents. By including MG in the panel of judges they are reassuring that.

The Statement by Gopi was very undiplomatic just for the purpose of justifying their action to promote najim all along he has condemned all other contestants. Najim is a good singer but that should not be used to downgrade / condemn his co-contestants who have been toiling all along for the Show. When Tushar was prompted to take on the Judges, Gopi appeared the next day to appease the viewers; yet he never mentioned his name while inaugurating ISS 2008, inspite of Tushar rendering an excellent classical song, considered as the Best.

Even while sitting as a celebrity for inaugurating ISS 2008, Gopi was seen gesticulating to the Judges (even before they aired their views) to clear one Contestant. During the mega final, the marks given by the Judges after the first round was read out immediately but they suppressed the second results from being read out to facilitate manipulation?. This speaks volume about the transparency in the Show & the external pressure being constantly applied

I wonder whether people like Suresh Gopi think that the whole world is foolish and will buy their word just like that. The way he praised Najim was downright deplorable. Manipulation or not, surely Najim is not worthy of so much praise. He sings well, no doubt. Whether he is better than Thushar and Durga is just a matter of personal opinion. But such praise!!!! Its bullshit, man! People like him will spoil the career of these young contestants, Najim included.

In a fair / closely fought contest, praising just one person to sky high level tantamount to indirect degradation of the other contestants. If one person is really at that highest level then in all fairness, the Contest should have been discontinued; alternatively the Show in view of it's high popularity could have been continued only to decide the 2nd, 3rd and 4th position.

I was always having the impression that Najim was inferior to both Thushar and Durga when comes to talent. Suresh Gopi's deceitful farting remarks during the ISS 2008 opening day truely justify this fact.
Mr. Gopi, Najim sang only 3 songs in the entire competition which is truely have substance viz. "Ezhu Swarangalum..", "Shankara Nada...." and the Gazal. Only Gazal was appreciable and other two songs were total disasters.
Asiant and Suresh Gopi should understand the fact that we all Keralites are not fools.
