And the real winner is Asianet... They made enough money through this show.

    Lessons from ISS 2007..
. ISS is not a platform to showcase real talent.
. People with more influence will be the winners.
. It is a programme to make money for the channel though the people.
. Using students as tools to make money, forcing them to sacrifice their studies and career.
. To show the fact that those who have influence will be benefitted is a "reality".

Thushar, don't get discouraged, we all are with you. We know your expertise.
Next time , in ISS ,would like to see an anchor who likes to put on some clothes.

In the mega filal round judges were right. All four contestants got the prize according to their talent. NAJIM is uncomparable singer. Everybody knows when ISS started that 'Star Singer' will be Najim. That became true now.

In any examination, thre will be optional questions. Some students are able to chose the right options (where things can't go wrong much) while others don't have this ability (some chose the tougher ones to challenge themselves though). So, the first category gets more marks as the second category loses marks (the options they have chosen might be easier to make and identify mistakes). Similar is the case with such music competitions. Najim, by winning the crown has not proved that he is the best singer. His song selection is definitely good. Like the second one (Sonu Nigam's song) he chose in the grand finale. That's a song that has a natural flow to it and not much of sustenance. So, the shruthi, etc. come naturally without much error. One has to sing it well, though, which Najim did. But mistakes would be rare in such songs, and even if made, not easily identifiable. It captures the audience also. Durga, also to an extent has shown this capabilty of good song selection. But Thushar's songs always are the tough ones with a lot of sustenance. So, it is easy to go out of pitch and be noticed too. As proof, one can see Najim's marks for his first song in the grand finale was 73 while in the second, he got 88.

Hi Sumi, I appreciate you concern and affection for Najim. However, your sharp critisisms on Apache looks stupid. You think Apache is a "real third rate person" who is "blind" to the singing talent of Najim. We all listen music with our ears and not with our eyes as you do Sumi.

For examinations, options are good; but not in real life. These contestants have chosen/are choosing music as a profession. So if they want to be successful, they have take challenges like Thushar. Think of a doctor who cannot treat a patient just because he had some options during his studies. This doctor has no other choice than asking the patient to meet a more qualified doctor. In the world od music, there is not just one patient but millions of audience.

Najim is a rate third singer and not a third rate singer. Sorry Sumi. I appologize for Apache and everybody else who also feel the same.
