Asianet is apparently accepting suggestions as to how they can improve Idea Star Singer 2008. What are your suggestions?
Firstly, I suggest they kick out Ranjini Haridas. What the hell were they thinking when they hired her? She reminds me of my aunt, the way she talks and her mannerisms. She's like one of those haughty old cow-like aunties who live next door. She doesn't complete her sentences, and uses wrong grammar (e.g. "Can I have you?", "Durga, you are a ...uh..blessed girl in the world") Get someone who can speak fluent malayalam, and fluent english. And is slightly better looking, and doesn't looks and sounds like a donkey when she laughs.
Secondly, Usha Uthup. Why do I get the feeling that she knows nothing about music? She's always giving irrelevant comments, like the other day she told Durga that she was the "soldier of music".What the #$%@ does that mean? Everyone who recovers from an cold/flu is a soldier? I sometimes wonder whether she feels imcompetent/ embarassed when her counterparts are giving constructive criticism. Because, I feel embarassed for her!
Thirdly, stop inviting random celebrities for elimination rounds? Can't Ranjini do the job herself? Why does she need help from someone else? And they should let the viewers know approximately how many votes each contestant got.
Well, that's all i have time for now. I'd like to know what other suggestions y'all have.

Please don't support one singer as it is happening now. I think everybody is working hard not one person so go for talents rather helping one person to reach the finals. We public are also watching this programme and i feel that someone is being protected for either the judges or someother's personal interests.Till yesterday i have seen many of them performing and marks are give to each candidates according to judges personal interest. Yes it is najeem the judges are blindly supporting which spoils our interest of watching this big programme and can only be successfull if these type of things are eliminated rather than good singers.

My suggestions are:
1)Anchoring by Ranjini is very poor. Need to change her for the program to be good.
2)Comments by judges can be little more lighter cas calling singers Uzzaphan are like insulting them. They are here to prove their talents.
3)Praising one particular singer even is really good because all are working hard.
4)There is no need of a new celebrity guest for the eliminiation. It will be very uneasy for them also to do so.the previous guest can do the elimination and then leave.
5)While doing elimination the number of SMS should be announced so that they can know their marks and their SMS. The time should be limited to send the SMS.
These are my suggetions for now.....

My suggestions would be:
1)Anchor change because Ranjini thinks she is a film star who doesn't know to speak Malayalam.
2)Number of SMS counts should be revealed during the elimination for the singers to know how people have rated them.
3)Judges say that we are like a family and then they insult the participants by saying uzaphas etc....This should be avoided.
4)For gods' sake don't make the elimination rounds emotional.There are times when we feel sad and bad but these are all part of life. In a competition only one can win so others have to leave and learn from that.
