It looks like every week you are changing the rules.
Asianet wants viewer's votes to carry on their programme. But they will not reveal how many votes each contestant gets. This is not not justifiable. Ridiculous. They only say 'someone got more votes and some one got lesser votes'. We cannot believe them until they tell the actual number of votes that ecah one got.

I did not understand why Asianet is hiding the SMS votes. Marks are public. Judgement is public. Then why SMS are only secret.
Also if you are not telling the SMS count, why you are mentioning about less votes. Substantiate it with numbers

Hello everybody,
I have great regard to the asianet and the whole idea star singer team for presenting such a wonderful reality show.
All contestants are having uncomparable skills and by the grace of god every body is trying to deliver their best within the stipulated time they get on the stage to perform.
But, as regards the weightage given for the performance on every rounds, I donot find any reason why it is so necessary for a singer to do dancing / dress according to the situation of the song e.g. wearing the dress of a 'palleelachan' if they are performing a 'pallippattu' !!!! Suppose if Idea Star Singer Management think that such deed add colour to the show, i would say that it is indeed your foolishness. Music lovers like us are getting bored and irritated upon that.
It is our earnest beg to give emphasis on true and real music and not performance because the show is not about a 'star performance' but the hunt is to find out a 'star singer'.
Further I would like to add that please come with rounds that tests the ability of singer like asking to sing classical / semi classical composed at a tempo higher than the original or at a higer or lower pitch or asking the contestants to sing a low range, mid range & high range songs in order to test the quality of their voice as well as the abitliy to sing in different ranges.
The thing which I have to say to the honourable judges is that, please pass appropriate comments. I am very thankful to them for imparting knowledge to lay men like us in music.
But, like deedi tells contestants to improve their hindi diction, I have heard very rarely from MGS & Sharat commenting about malayalam diction. I feel that one of the greatest quality of the great Dr. K J Yesudas is his pronounciation which is unmatchable. I think that the judges should emphasis on that and should insist the contestants to make their diction correct, place it properly and then comes sangathees and other aspects.
Last but not the least, I would like to say few more. We being malayalees are capable of enjoying music made in any language. But it is my humble request to give more and more emphasis on our language, malayalam classical songs, semi classical songs.

Another stupid, horrible, intolorable, cruel elimination play with Thushar. It is high time that ASIANET stop judging contestants with "imaginary SMS votes". All the contestants have sacrificed one precious year in their life to act, sing and make money for you. You will be thinking that you have given them and made them to tell that ISS is a big milestone in their musical career. Hey dear contestants, your popularity will go on until ISS-2008. After that the new faces will take over. Ultimately, your food is your job or passing the school/university exams what you have been ignoring.

'Romance Round' IN THE SEMI FINAL,- Another episode of stupidity .
What the judges want from the contestants? This show is to select the best singer, not the best actor.
Now the tiltle of the show should change from'idea star singer' to 'Idea Star Actor'.
Durga well done. She was very clever to select the theme of 'yakshi' so that she doesn't have to romance much. Hope all other contestents are clever enough to think like Durga.All the best for her.
