We all should deplore the comments made by actor Jayasurya.
Sannidhanam was performing the other day.
There was a small person performing on the stage. Little bat chubby.
Jayasurya said this person looks like a smaller version of Rimi Tomy

With due respect to Mr. Jayasurya,with your public image as a talented upcoming actor,your comment were not only deplorable, but were inviting troubles as well, especially in a programme which was aired publicly for millions all over the world. Irrespective of your rapport and relationship with Ms. Rimmy Tommy, it was an insult to the other artist who permored on that stage.Had it been taken place in any western world Mr. Jayasurya would have invited trouble for a file suit for defamtion from both Ms. Rimmy Tomy and the artist who performed on that stage with Mr. Sannidhanthan.

I disagree with Mr George's comments. Jayasurya's words were merely a comedian's statement intended towards entertaining the public at large which was thoroughly enjoyed by the viewers. Put in context this statement does not amount to defaming any one involved.
George's view is a classic example of our misconception of how Western law suits emerge. Had it been brought to court, it would have been dismissed sans-delay even in the Western World.
Stop these non-sense, and enjoy these spontaneous humour of talented comedians like Jayasurya.

I am not sure why you are supporting Jayasurya. He needs to watch his words. Good comedy is not about making cheap comments about handicapped people and fat people. He should publicly apologize to the singer and give up compensation to try our little artists.
